Coronavirus Update

Keep up to date with the latest information on the ADA website:

In an effort to support national efforts to fight the COVID- 19 pandemic, our practice is taking the following steps to help assure your health and well-being and that of our community:

  • We are following directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA) as a way to limit patient and staff exposure to this virus.
  • Your health, and the health of our dedicated staff, matters to us, so going forward we will suspend all non-emergency care until further notice.
  • We will contact you to reschedule scheduled appointments.
  • If you have an orthodontic emergency, please call the number on our answering service. We will have staff available to answer your questions and see emergency patients. A protocol will be followed as to see only one patient in the office at a time and we ask that family members remain outside.
  • If you are wearing elastics, please continue to do so. If you run out, you can call our office and we will have elastics available for you.
  • If you are wearing aligners, please continue with your scheduled plan. I will be reviewing your cases to see if we can provide you with additional aligners as not to interrupt your progress.
  • For all our patients that were scheduled to have their braces removed, we promise to schedule you as soon as possible once we return to our normal hours.
  • For our patients in retainers, please take care of them as we will not be able to make any new retainers during this time.
  • Keep your mouths healthy by brushing twice a day and flossing!

The safety and well-being of our patients continues to be our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual.

I urge you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We can be reached by phone at 772-287-8181 or by email to [email protected] and will respond as soon as we can.

Coronavirus Pre-Screening Questions

Our practice is taking steps to screen for patients who may be affected by COVID-19. Before booking or coming in for an appointment, please read and answer the following questions:

  1. Has the patient travelled out of the country in the past 14 days?
  2. Does the patient have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, or shortness of breath?
  3. Has the patient been in contact with someone with known or suspected COVID-19?
  4. If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, please call our practice directly for further guidance.

We will continue to adhere to the strictest sterilization protocols to ensure you are receiving top quality care in a safe and comfortable environment.

Thank you!
